Well Folks, this is probably my last weekend off I am going to get for a long while. I start training for my new job the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Yes, I said Sunday. Who starts training on a Sunday? Apparently, the United States government does. I’m not complaining, not really….well, maybe a little.
Any way the reason for this post is that Thanksgiving is next week and many of you will be traveling to different places around the globe to meet up with family and friends. Keep it safe. Be cautious, Have a good time. Remember to drink moderately. Most of all give that special someone a hug and don’t forget to say “I Love You”.

This is a neat idea. I have to actually take a look at my check book…yep not a lot in there. I would buy a few frames myself but my five children prefer to eat.  🙂

The Battery Podcast <---Look it's a Podcast. The day had started out so well. The rash that Morgan had from head to toe yesterday had disappeared during the night thanks to Benadryl. At least I think it was the Benadryl. Although she still croaks like a frog. She seems to be feeling much better today. Anyway, this morning I went to get my car washed. It was embarrassing driving it around in the condition it was in. After the car wash I was going to go to Kohls and buy some new pants for work. I had some extra cash in my pocket. This doesn't happen too often so I was going to take advantage of it and buy something I needed. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the cash to disappear plus a little more. My car was all shiny and pretty. I jumped in to pull away from the car wash and the car goes...click, click, click. I'm thinkin, ok thats not good, so I tried it again and still....click, click, click. I was not happy I said a few curse words that I won't repeat. These things always happen to me. The moment I get a little extra cash something breaks. I called my husband for help. He quickly came to my aid. We had to buy a new battery for my car. I didn't need new pants anyway...actually I did but you know how that goes.
My Morgan hasn’t been feeling real well this week. I think she has a virus of some sort. We have been awake since five this morning. I had to get up and give her some Motrin and neither of us could fall back to sleep. Any way, Morgan has been drawing some of her favorite cartoon personalities. Let me know if you can guess who they are.
Thanks to everyone that has been leaving messages. I apologize for not replying to everyone of you individually but life as a mom, wife and working woman has been keeping me extremely busy. I try to stop by your websites as much as possible. I don’t always comment but I can assure you that I read and read and read.

I love the internet. I just thought I would say that this morning. There is so much to see and do. Anyway, I watched a TV show sitcom this morning while drinking a cup of coffee. The show called “Nobody’s Watching” was brought to my attention by my friend Jon Baas.
You can watch the show by clicking on the following links. I think you will enjoy this show. It’s a comedy about a couple of friends that send in a tape to all of the networks stating they could come up with a better sitcom. Watch it you won’t be disappointed.

So you do your best to raise your children the best you can with the resources you have. You try to instill good moral values…and then something out of the ordinary happens. Your child does something that catches you off guard. It’s a good thing…Let me explain.
Me, Heather and Ethan took the Morgan out trick or treating. Stephanie and the Rachel were left at home passing out candy to the children in our neighborhood. Anyway, Morgan’s pumpkin was filled to the brim with candy so we returned home to sort out the good pieces and give the Morgan the rest. 🙂
I was sitting in the loft watching TV and eating Morgan’s candy. The doorbell rang as it had done probably 100 times during the evening. Trick or Treaters were at the door. Morgan decides she wants to help the Stephanie pass out candy. The task is done. The door closes and I hear Stephanie say to Morgan.. “Morgan the next time little kids come to the door don’t give the hard candies to the little ones they might accidently choke.”
Apparently the STephanie had been passing out age appropriate candy treats to the neighborhood children all evening. Who would have thought? I feel somewhat awful that this never occured to me to do such a thing. Kudos to “The Stephanie” for looking out for the well being of the little ones in the neighborhood.
Here is a couple of pictures from our halloween. Morgan and Ethan are the only two that dressed up for the event. Ethan didn’t want to dress up but we made him dress like Shaggy from Scooby doo any way. 🙂 We won’t mention that he fits into his older sister’s khaki pants. Sorry couldn’t get more pictures but the digital camera wasn’t charged up and quit working after a couple of pictures were taken.
My daughter’s birthday is today. She is 19.
…so I received a big box in the mail from fed-ex via the federal government. With the box came instruction not to open said box but to take it to my scheduled appointment next week. The box will be opened at the appointment. Kind of makes you wonder what kind of tortuous device is in the box……do you know how hard it is going to be to stare at that box for the next four days and not be able to open it…?
I will take a picture of the box as soon as I discover which child has the digital camera. 🙂
PS: If I suddenly stop posting all together next week it’s because I have unknowingly enrolled in some secret government project. 🙂

My birthday party
When it was my birthday party it was a sunny and bright day.
I wanted it to be this way.
Friends were over and were playing line-up tag scatch.
Itâs a game that when you turn into a line
You try to tag someone and then when you are tagged your supposed to scatch three times
I went inside to cool off
She said what would you like
I said âI will like a glass of water, please
âOK, it will be done right a secondâ
then I got my drink
I went in my room
I had make-up in my room
And I had a purple bed and a pink mattress
A yellow pillow
a purple roof
And a yellow floor
My room is on the top floor
Second on the right
My lipstick was red
And I had this kind of powder that you put on your cheeks
It was almost present time
Finally it was 9 oâclock
I got everything I wanted
I really wanted a guitar
And then I opened my presents
The square one was my new pillow
Time for cake
It had purple icing On top and the bottom
and had strawberry stuff inside
It was vanilla and had blue candles
It had three candles in it
Cake was delicious

This was my best birthday party of my entire life

I made it to round two in the Livemansion.com contest.(**I’m doin the happy dance**) I scored an overall 2.59 out of a possible 5.0. I guess that makes me a little better than middle of the road. Now I need to come up with a one minute movie of myself that will entice the other actors/actresses/producers/directors in the contest to vote for me.

Air Force Chief Master Sgt John Gebhardt of the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group at Balad, Iraq, cradles a young girl as they both sleep in the hospital. The girls entire family was executed by insurgents. The killers shot her in the head as well. the girl received treatment at the US Military Hospital in Balad, but cries and moans often. According to nurses at the facility Gebhardt is the only one who can calm down the girl, so he has spent the last several nights holding her while they both slept in a chair.
I have put off this book project long enough. I really want to see my book in print and in the stores. I am working on a baby book with my daughter Heather. The book has been finished for quite a while now and I have my draft in print. The problem is that all the pictures need to be redrawn at 300 dpi. so that they look nice and crisp on the page. SO…I am going to buckle down and get things done. If I seem preoccupied over the next few weeks this is the reason why. For your viewing pleasure I give you the first view pages to look at. A little excitement here in Surprise Arizona. A hostage situation occurred near my two youngest children’s elementary school. The elementary school was placed on lock-down and the children riding on buses were diverted to another school for parent pick-up.
How my day started.
1. I take my children to their bus stop and put them on the school bus.
2. I get home just in time to hear the phone ring. My oldest daughter calls me from work and tells me to turn on the TV. Ashton Ranch Elementary is on lock-down.
3. I jump in my car and drive to the school. Police are everywhere. They tell me and a couple hundred other parents that if our children were on school buses the buses were diverted to Sonora Heights elementary.
4. I go back home to locate said school because we are fairly new to the area and I have no idea where this school is.
5. Sonora Heights is not on the map. The school is new. I call the school to find out how to get to them. Their phones are all tied up with parents trying to call and find out about their children.
6. I have a general idea where the school is so I go driving. Yeah!! I found it.
7. I pick up my two youngest children from Sonara Heights and go back home.
I believe I mentioned I was taking the federal exam today…I am on my way to do that now..
