Blog Surfing

I like to blogsurf and if given the choice to blogsurf or do the dishes I would choose blogsurfing. The first thing I do in the mornings is make coffee and check my emails. After reading all the relevant material and deleting those emails we all delete I set out to blogsurf. I usually blog surf 30 minutes to an hour and then wake my children up for school. Blogsurfing is how I meet new and interesting people.

Most of the people who arrive at my blogs arrive because I accidently came across their site and found something interesting to read so I left a message. A few people find me by accident too. The internet makes the world a little smaller and sometimes even friendlier <--is that a real word? There is a ton of interesting people on the internet. I like meeting people.

  1. I wondered how you found my site. I am new to blogging but I enjoy it so much since I am an empty nester and relocated to another state. First thing I do in the morning is IM with my daughter in KY then check emails and then check favorite blogs (and yours is on my favorite list since you left a message
😀 )–I don’t know how to blogsurf…care to enlighten me?

  2. How to blog surf. type in the address of http://www.blogger.com Don’t sign into your account. On the right hand side of the page just under the blog search bar is a button that says “next blog”. Click on the button. A new blog will appear. At the top of most blogs is a “next blog” button. Keep clicking next blog. If you run across a blog without the next blog button back up a page and then go forward again.

  3. Girlllllll…you have started something now! Wow, you just opened up a whole new world to me…I gotta get out more!
    Thanks for your help!

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog again and looking at my Mickey photos. I once did that blog surfing thing. There are some very strange people out there! But I did run across a couple that I bookmarked. One I frequent on a regular basis but she is vacationing in Ireland right now. The others I’ve kind of let slid. As a First Grade teacher’s aide I enjoyed your daughters story below. My teacher has the children writing stories all the time in class. Helps them to become more creative and better students.

  5. Marsha, I am glad you found my site as it led me to yours which I now enjoy stopping by to see what you and your family are up to.
I would like to include you in “my favorite bloggers” if that is ok.

  6. Marsha it was you who first left a comment on my blog, Though we have never met , I still feel a special bonding with you. I always wait for your lovely comments as soon as I publish any post 🙂 I just get time over weekends to go through your blog and update mine too…..

  7. Marsha,
Thanks for your kind words about my blog. I’m just skimming thru yours and find it interesting too. Keep up the good work.
