My husband and my three youngest children are on their way to Tennessee for three weeks for a vacation. Me and my two oldest daughters were left behind. I have to work, Heather has to work and the Steph is in summer classes at college. I’m in an empty house. What to do? What to do? I’m thinkin of doing nothing but watching TV, going to the movies a few times, sleeping and surfing the internet. I’ll let you know.
I thought of sleeping in today. It didn’t happen, even though I worked overtime last night and didn’t get home until 12:30, I woke at 07:15. I still have my head-cold and an enormous headache. I have filled my body with drugs hoping to alleviate some of the symptoms. Today is my Friday at work. It’s suppose to be really busy today because of the 4th of July holiday. People will be trying to travel here and there.
I’m making a predictions that the number of bags with liquids in them will be greater than the number of bags without liquids in them. 🙂
I promised terminal 3 earlier in the week that I would work overtime tonight. I’m insane. I haven’t decided if I am really going to do it or not. I’m waiting to see how I feel.
I wanted to change my mind last night about working overtime but I felt guilty about saying “I’m going home because I am sick” after I had already promised earlier in the week that I would be there. It really wasn’t so bad, the overtime went quickly but the drive home was a bear. I was so “frickin” <–(alternative to a dirty word) tired. I sneezed nearly the entire 40 minutes home. It’s hard to stay between the lines when you can’t stop sneezing. 🙂
Sometimes I hate it that I can’t go back on my word as easy as other people do. I know I should just say “I’m not working today”…but I can’t.
The overtime pay is really nice but I feel absolutely horrible. <–(I wanted to say “I feel like sh*t” here) couldn’t do it. Dang it, I am never going to get this blog above a “G” rating. 🙂
