We are moving into the base T.L.F. today. TLF stands for Temporary Living Facility. Kind of sounds like we are being incarcerated doesn’t it? We will be staying in the TLF until I can finish getting this house cleaned up and painted in a few places. I am almost done. I just need to get all of the kids out of my hair so that I can finish with everything I need to do. I work best without distraction. There is only one major problem with the TLF it doesn’t have high speed internet. Everybody say boooooo!!!!!!! None of my kids want to go to the TLF because they won’t have internet access. I’m not paying for dial-up. They will have to deal with only watching TV. Of course, I will still have the internet until I turn this house over to the owner. 🙂 Sometimes I love the perks of being a parent.

Thanks, the penicillin worked xxxooo.
Keep yourself laughing with the job of moveing, painting, cleaning.Better than yelling, pouting and crying:) Moving forward with a smile and a giggle and a little chessecake and chocolete for your reward!
Sounds fun …. NOT… Kids need a little deprivation so they can tell something to their therapists. LOL
😉
Yes – the name of the place does sound like a prison or a halfway house.
Thank you for visiting me… your blog is fun to read, by the way.
My cable was down for 3 hours this afternoon and I was having a fit so I sympathize with the kids not having the internet when you move in the T.L.F. lol Just goes to show, though, how we tend to think of the internet as our lifeline now!! Gosh, you’ll sure be happy when you’ve got the house all ready and can move into your new home! Thinking of you:-)
You don’t realize how addicted you are to the internet until you don’t have it anymore. At least I didn’t until I was house sitting for my aunt & uncle for two weeks, and they neglected to give me the password to their computer before they left. I was so fricking bored!
Sorry I haven’t stopped by in a while, glad to hear you’re almost done moving!
Take care,
–Isabelle
You’re so right, being the rule-maker totally rocks! It’s just a perk for all the hard work that you do. Sounds like everything is going pretty smoothly.
I can imagine how it feels to stay at home without internet access. btw good luck with your new place, it must be a wonderful house..with a wonderful family too 🙂
Hi, I have just come across you blog. What a nice house you are moving to! I certainly don’t envy the packing and moving part though!
Your blog is a joy to read.
