This is directed at those of you with nothing better to do over the summer. Jump over to my serial fiction blog or as some people would call it a “Blook”. You can read or listen to Madie’s Bear Tribe Journals. I have been writing and podcasting this story for two years. The podcast isn’t professional quality but it is a podcast which makes me very cool!!! :)Â All the pictures drawn in the story are done by me. I have limited drawing skills but hey you can tell they are people and things. 🙂
Madie’s Bear Tribe Journals is a story written as a personal diary. Madie and her friends live in an alternate reality where there are no adults. This is Madie’s view of the world around her.
Also this story is loosely based off of a television show out of New Zealand called The Tribe. I have my own setting, my own story and my own characters. You can look at my story as a spinoff of the television series. My webpage link has been added to some of the best American sites on The Tribe
Hey,
I took a quick peek at it and it looks cute. I’ll make sure to read it when I get out of work. Now I know where your children get their talent, it seems it’s hereditary. 🙂

Yara: LOL!!! I guess you can’t deny the truth.
More great reading for me. Thanks Marsha, I’ll check it out.
I took a quick peek too and will definitely read the stories as soon as I have more time…I put the link in my favourites:-) You are so talented!!
I am enjoying your podcasts. Your voice is very nice for reading books. Your voice is clear and easy to understand; maybe you could look into getting a job reading audio books for book publishers or something. I like your story as well, I have always liked post-apocalypse stories.

Hi – thanks for dropping back in on granny and for your comment.
I didn’t expect so much response when I posted that. I’m sorry about your friend. To me one of the most frightening things is having a thief (or worse) know where you live.
Ricardo and Pea, I really hope you enjoy my story. I worked hard on it.
Don, I always thought I sounded funny. I am glad you are enjoying my story. It is not easy reading off of a page even if I did write the story. It took me a dozen tries to get some of the podcasts done. I can put the hardest words together. I never thought about reading books for publishers. Interesting idea. I will do a google search on phoenix publishers.
Ann Adams, thanks for dropping by. Your blog entry hit home especially since all the military info was recently stolen. We are keeping a close eye on our finances.
Good for you… I wish I was better at self promotion. 🙂
Hi Marsha,
