Heather’s Art

This is my Heather’s most recent art picture. I thought it was very pretty. She used a photograph as a reference picture.

  1. Wow, your daughter really has an amazing talent. Congrats on the new home too, looks great, best of luck with the move. Thanks again for stopping by.

  2. I admire the artist’s patience and attention to detail. I used to like to draw from photographs, being as true to the photo as possible. Now just the thought of it give me a cramp in my hand! Where do your kids get their creativity? Do you have any creative outlets (other than blogging)?

  3. Jeremy: Thanks, we are all excited about moving.
JIll: I’m pretty sure they are getting their creative gene from me…yep! I take all the credit. I enjoy writing and sometimes I draw. Although my drawing skills are no where near the talent of my two older children and we all know Morgan’s creativity and writing skills will soon be better than mine. 🙂

  4. She’s a wonderful artist and I’ve no doubt she takes after you:-) My oldest son Shawn is quite a talented artist too and always had drawings, paintings, etc in art shows during high school…he’s a computer programmer now and doesn’t really have time for his art which is a shame but I’ve always kept all his work:-)

  5. That is one talent I have always envied…that and music…I got left out on both…I’m sure you are very proud of her!
My daughter is more creative than me…she can draw and do caligraphy and used to be into scrapbooking quite a bit…now she is too busy homeschooling to do any of that and is trying to knit which is hard for a lefty…lol!
I used to be into embroidery and cross-stitch till I started to wear bi-focals…now it’s just too much trouble…lol!!

  6. wow! she’s really good. i used to draw and paint too until work took over my extra time. year after year having the same resolution of “i gotta start painting again this year”… but never happen. 😛
do share more of yor daughters work, i’d love viewing them.

  7. Oh wow, your daughter is so talented, you must be very pround of her. I hope she keeps on doing her art, she would have a great future as an artist. Congrats on the new home, it’s a beautiful house. I just love decorating new homes, the only problem for me is the moving. 🙂 I just hate to pack and unpack.
