Tonight it was Elvis night on American Idol. I enjoyed Elliot Yamin and Taylor HIcks. I would like to see these two young men make it to the final round. I think I am going to cry if either of them gets voted off tomorrow. Is it my imagination or is Elliot getting more handsome by the minute?
When I first heard Taylor sing I thought he had a sound of Elvis in his voice, and last night he proved me right. Gosh I hate to see any of these last few performers go home, they are all so good. I did love Paris, what a charming talented young lady. Yes I think Elliot is getting more handsom, I was looking at his teeth last night, am I imagining things or has he perhaps had some caps put on his teeth, it seemed that they were uneven before. His smile seems wider and brighter now.
I was wondering if he was receiving dental work. What ever they are doing it looks good. I don’t really want to see any of the remaining four go home either but I think I prefer to see Taylor and Elliot make it to the end.
I love Taylor, but I have a hard time with Elliott. I like him as a person, but I just don’t like his voice… I agree that he has “handsomed-up” a bit though. I think Taylor just out-sings him though…

I totally agree that the powers that be have improved upon Elliot’s appearance. His outfits are better, his hair is much much better. I remember thinking a week ago: now all he needs is to have his teeth done! But I didn’t notice his teeth much Tues. night. He has a way of holding the mic right in front of his mouth. Maybe the show should be called American Idol / Extreme Makeover! (Regardless of how he looks, his voice is beautiful.)

Elliot is indeed getting more handsome. How can that be, if the change in his appearance is minimal?
Here’s how. We are getting to know the person who is inside Elliot, where true beauty is. When we look at this talented young man now — as opposed to at the beginning of the competition when we didn’t really know much about him — we are treated to the entire package of Elliot Yamin, not just the packaging. We see the wrapper AND the contents. It’s all quite lovely.
Of course, this is just an analogy, and I realize Elliot is a person, not an object.
Enough frou-frouing. Soul Patrol! Soul Patrol! The Queen of The World proclaims Taylor Hicks the winner, although Katharine the Great may surprise us all …
Actually, all of the top five are stars. Great kids, they are.
