Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe
The cuteness grossness of it all. The Discovery channel’s “Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe” is so very entertaining. This is a great show. Dirty Jobs is one of the most entertaining TV shows that I have seen in a long time.
On this show Mike Rowe gives us an upclose and personal look at dirty jobs from around the country. Mike brings a lot of humor and mishap to the show. I have been grossed out on more than one occassion. This show makes me laugh. I like to laugh.
The sad thing is fewer and fewer Americans are willing to do that kind of work. There is no shame in that work, but people feel above doing it.
I actually understand people not wanting to do the dirty jobs but there are some jobs that you just fall into. for instance the guy who keeps an eye on the bats in the bat cave or the guy who inseminates pigs.

Mike has said, and such is posted on the FAQ and live chat transcript on the Discovery messageboard, that he has lived with a “very understanding woman” for quite a while. She’d have to be, what with the on screen flirting and persona he sometimes puts out! (Hot Tub scene on the roof. When Mike’s done narrating, he asks the woman in the tub with him, “What’s your name?” Same thing with the leopard print bra in his bathroom!)
Silly Mike. It’s a wonder he hasn’t damaged his sly winking muscles from overuse!
