I swear, sometimes it is hard to bite my tongue and be civil. I work in a newborn intensive care unit as a secretary. I was recently asked by a family if I could call a Priest so that their baby could be Baptised. The baby was seriously ill and the family wasnât certain if she would survive the day. I gladly did as I was asked and called the oncall Priest. The Priest arrived and as soon as he discovered the family that needed his assistance was a gay couple he refused to Baptise the baby. He was rude and uncaring. He turned around and walked out of the unit leaving the family standing beside their babyâs issolate crushed and hurt. What difference does it make that the parents are gay? The baby is an innocent.Â
By the way, We did find someone to Baptise the baby.
