The movers arrive today

Sometime between 8am and 5pm tonight the movers should arrive and start packing up our stuff. For the next three days our home will be invaded by strangers. On Friday the big truck will arrive and our things will be loaded onto the truck. I have no idea when this computer will be packed up. It will be either today, tomorrow or thursday. So just incase I don’t get to signon again. Everyone have a happy and safe summer.

  1. Hope all goes well for you and family. Enjoy the holidays- enjoy not having to clean all of that stuff up for a bit- enjoy the thought of your new place. Enjoy. 🙂

  2. Hi Marsha, I hope you & your family have a safe move. I will check back in a few days to see if you’ve updated. Remember to rest when you can. 🙂

  3. I’ll be looking forward to reading your blog again. I hope your move goes very smoothly. It looks like you’re moving to a beautiful new home.

  4. Marsha, I live in Phoenix. Can I ask which base your husband will be working with? And what part of town (city) did you find that house in?

  5. Tammy, Pea, Horizon, Jane, Beverly and Alison: thanks so much for the will wishes. As you can see we held back the lap top computer. It should fit nicely in my car trunk. I just couldn’t function without a computer.

JW: My husband will be stationed at Luke Air Force Base and our new home is in Surprise.

  6. Marsha, I got your comments at my blog. I don’t see an e-mail for you or I’d use that. Luke AFB does some very important missions for USAF. Locals have been working hard to keep it off of the base closings list. Surprise is a good place to live. I live on west side of the City of Phoenix. In terms of crime, you will be in a better area.

The Dr. Pepper. Stupid criminals. The handles on the refrigerator have a poor surface for checking fingerprints. My son’s favorite drink is Dr. Pepper, that is why it was there, awaiting his return home.

I hope that your move goes well. As you saw on my blog, I spent the last week moving my son across the country. Packing, loading, and unloading are a pain. We have more unloading to do tonight in order to turn in the U-Haul truck tomorrow.
