Holiday cards

Marsha is bad. I still have not mailed my holiday cards. Procrastination is killing me this year. Tomorrow is my day off. I will get them in the mail…provided something else doesn’t get my attention first.     🙂

I know I looked organized but I am not!!!

Airport Day

Today is my very first day working at the airport. So should you be flying out of Phoenix and departing through Terminal 4C don’t forget to say “Hi” or at least wave to Marsha. I will be needing constant encouragement. 🙂 A list of things you will need to remember….take off your shoes, take your laptops out of the case, empty your pockets and place everything in the bin for xray and lastly, walk slowly through the metal detector. I hope you have an enjoyable flight.

Day 5 a little late.

I forgot to post a journal entry last night. So there will probably be two today.

I didn’t get home last night until until 19:45. I took me two hours to get home. That darn traffic. Today I have to go to Chandler for class until 11:45 and then a bus is taking us to Phoenix Airport for a tour. Then we take the bus back to Chandler, I get in my car and then I drive home to Suprise….Ick, Ick, Ick. that is entirely too much time on the interstate. I’m thinkin, I’m going to be cranky tonight. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Day 4 and my love of country music

I’m not sure if my brain can take any more input from training.

I love listening to Country Music.  I listen to other stuff too! but Country is my favorite.
Ever listen to the radio and hear a new song by someone you have never heard before? Curiosity peaks and you just need to know more about the person singing the music? This happened to me while driving to Chandler, Arizona for training. I heard this song called “Alyssa Lies” . It’s a sad song. One of those songs that brings a tear to your eye.

I looked up this person named Jason Michael Carroll. I like to know a little about the singer of the songs I listen to. I’m noisy that way. Anyway, after hearing the song I had an image in my mind on how I thought this person might look. I was so wrong. He does not look like he sounds. He sings really, really well though. I recommend you click over to Jason Michael Carroll’s myspace page and take a listen to his music. I like him.
