Welcome to my blog.
I write under the pen–name of Gwen Newpenny on occassion.
I’m married (26 years), 47 years old, 5 children, 2 grandchildren
Nashville is my home.
Knoxville is where I live.
I have a cat named Sergey. He likes to walk on my keyboard. I blame allĀ spelling errorsĀ on him.
Should you find an error please point it out. It is not uncommon that I use a wrong word or misspell something.
Leave me a message.
Hello Marsha,
I think I should get a cat to blame my typos on.
Diane, Yes a cat is very helpful.
writernubbin, Sergey(my cat) often tries to catch the curser on the screen. I think he does it on purpose to distract me.
Is there a place where I can rent a cat? I have two puppies that are aspiring lap dogs, maybe that will work…
Keep writing. I am enjoying reading your works. Well done!
D.J Lutz, LOL, I am uncertain about renting…mine just appeared on my doorstep one day. Word had spread in the neighborhood that I needed a muse to help with my writing. Sergey was first to apply all he wanted was a warm bed and food.
Hi, just introducing myself. You commented on my blog earlier. Best wishes with your writing and I hope to see it in print one day! Regards, Lawrence
btw – lovely looking cat.
lawrenceez, I hope to see my writing in print someday too. It could happen, I have faith.
Thank you
Every home needs a kitty – they’re like little furry Buddhas finding fun in the simplest of things. My kitty likes to knock the pepper shaker off the counter while I’m meditating. I blame him for my distractions.
My kitties usually do something distracting when I have failed to notice something important or I wrote something lame. I suggest you take a look at what you were writing last.
Noticed that you just subscribed to my blog – I feel honoured, thanks!
I am honored you would leave a reply on my humble blog. I hope you come back again.
I work without an outline as well
Best way to do it.
I tried the outline thing on other stories but it kept changing…
Thanks for reading and commenting on one of my blogs – petradragon. You should really teach your cat how to spell….
LOL, yes I should but he is stubborn.
I wish I could point at a cat to account for my errors, but mine ran away with the dog a decade ago. The other day in the garden, a snail landed on my head. Now that isn’t something I’ve been able to say often.
LOL, I have it on good authority that a snail landing on ones head is a good thing. I an envious. The only thing that has landed on me is a spider.
Sadly, I’m not allowed to keep cats in my apartment – so I collect toy plush animals. Would it be terrifying – or marvelous – if they suddenly started to commit spelling errors on my posts?
Actually, this is quite possible. I know on good authority, from sources that wish to remain anonymous, that stuff animals often cause spelling errors.
Omg! Im just south of you! Down here in Monroe County! Small world!
LOL,yes it is a small world.
Noticed that you just commented on my blog – thanks! =D
Anyway enjoy reading your blog! Great work!
Greetings from Singapore.

Hi Marsha, Thank you for dropping by my blog earlier today and for your kind words. Hmm, I have a cat , but he can probably type better than me.
@ Laura, sometimes I think my cat is smarter than me and sits in judgement. I actually have two cats both like to stare at me and observe my day to day activities.
